Robert A. Mallette, M.D.

Dr. Mallettee graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1975, and completed his pre-med coursework at Millsaps College in 1976. He received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 1981. His internship and residency in ophthalmology at UMC were followed by two years at the Wilmer Institute, John Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He completed his MBA at Millsaps in 2004.

Dr Mallette specializes in corneal surgery, LASIK refractive surgery, and cataracts, as well as pediatric vision care, and adult eye muscle conditions. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a member of the American Medical Association, the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Stabismus, Mississippi State Medical Association, Mississippi Eye Ear Nose and Throat Association, and Jackson Ophthalmology Society.
