R. Glenn Herrington, M.D.

Dr. Herrington was born in Canton, MS, and graduated from Millsaps College in 1977. He received his medical degree from the University of MS School of Medicine in 1987, where he performed his internship and residency. Dr. Herrington performed a fellowship in glaucoma at the LSU Eye Center in 1991.

He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, New Orleans Academy of Ophthalmology, Jackson Ophthalmologic Society, American Medical Association, Mississippi State Medical Association, Central Medical Society and the LA-MS Otolaryngology and Ophthalmology Association. Dr. Herrington was also a clinical instructor at the University of MS School of Medicine Department of Ophthalmology, and has had several articles published in the Achieves of Ophthalmology and Ophthalmic Surgery. He specializes in glaucoma and cataract surgery.
