John H. McVey, M.D.

John H. McVey, M.D. was born in Macon, Mississippi. He graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He then received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 1983, and completed an internship there the same year. He completed a pre-residency at the University in Neuro-Ophthalmology in 1984, where he went on and completed his basic ophthalmology residency in 1988.

Dr. McVey specializes in pediatric vision care, adult muscle conditions, reconstructive and plastic surgery of the eyelids and orbit, and LASIK refractive surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmolgoy, American Medical Association, and the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus
